Charles E. Bessey Inducted into Nebraska Hall of Fame

The herbarium at the University of Nebraska State Museum is named in honor of Charles E. Bessey. Dr. Bessey was a nationally known botanist and professor at the University in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. On June 26, 2009, he was inducted into the Nebraska Hall of Fame.
