The
SOLA Scarab Workers Symposium is a highly successful and popular
meeting that has been a part of the Sunday schedule of the Entomological
Society of America annual meeting since 1998. The main goal
of the symposium is to assemble entomologists interested in
any or all aspects of scarab beetle research. This symposium
contributes to the advancement of the field of scarabaeology
by providing a forum for workers to present research to colleagues.
The
2012 meeting will be in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 11th.
