Cost: Included with admission -- all museum discounts including senior, veteran, Blue Star (Free for active-duty military and/or their families), and Museums for All ($1 with WIC/SNAP/EBT) are valid

Event Activities
Some of this year's event activities include:
- What's Eating You: Join UNSM parasitology to explore the world of parasites like fleas, louse, and ticks under microscopes.
- Clash of the Mammoths: Take a virtual tour of Trailside Museum, a sister site to Morrill Hall, and see their one-of-a-kind Clash of the Mammoths fossil.
- Call to Arms: Members of the Nebraska Swordfighter's Guild will have tables with examples of different weapons and armor used throughout history.
- Archie Meet & Greet: Come say Happy Birthday to Archie as he wanders through the event.
- Create-a-Card: Decorate a card that Archie or his friends will deliver to assisted living/nursing homes in the area this summer.
- Mammoth Sized Changes: Come visit with our team about the upcoming renovation project for Elephant Hall and its side galleries.
- Imagination Zone: A quieter space on the first floor with activities like reading and coloring for visitors who need a break from the louder fun or crowds.
- Bowerbird Builders: Bowerbirds are a species known for building intricate bowers, which they decorate too. Come learn more about these unique creatures with some hands-on activities.
- Watershed Table: Create new landforms in our AR sandbox and see what happens when you make it rain.
- Visible Lab: What do members of our collections staff do? See firsthand as they prepare specimens in our Visible Lab.
- Bookmobile: Bring your library card! Lincoln City Libraries will have their bookmobile parked outside near Archie with books related to the museum's different collections available for checkout. Make sure to sign up for the summer reading program too (Morrill Hall pass is a prize for child reading program completion).
Community Access Program Drive
UNSM is supporting the Food Bank of Lincoln as part of the Archie's Party CAP Collection Drive.
The mission of the Food Bank of Lincoln is to alleviate hunger in Southeast Nebraska.
Visitors can bring a donation and be entered into a drawing to win prizes. Winners will be drawn throughout the day for prizes to collect on site. Grand prize winners will be drawn after the event concludes. Grand prizes include a 1-year museum membership and a Discovery Day Camp registration.
Most needed items (Pop-top lids on cans are encouraged):
