Seeing the Unseeable
Join Dr. Quilin Guo with UNL Engineering to examine the science behind seeing the unseeable. We design experiments to "observe" things or phenomena that are difficult to "see" by our bare eyes. Two types of videography approaches will be demonstrated: 1) High-speed imaging, which allows us to observe fast moving objects, and 2) Schlieren imaging, that allows us to "observe" gas, temperature, or even sound. (3 Stations; will need to reach out independently).
Date: Sunday, March 15
Time: 12:00-3:00pm
