    Go to the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope to view the stars, then lift off into space to visit the Earth, Moon, Sun, and all the planets of the Solar System. Unlike traditional planetarium shows, the soundtrack takes the lead, with each object in space represented by sound as well as stunning 4K visuals, letting the audience hear the stars appear and the planets orbit around them in an immersive experience for all.

    This sky show, produced in cooperation with Tribal Elders, provides a never-before-seen journey into the culture of the Skidi, a band of the Pawnee Native American Nation. You will explore the rich cultural heritage of the Skidi and see how they came to pattern their lives from observations they made of the Earth and celestial phenomena.

    This original production by Chicago's Adler Planetarium was adapted for fulldome by the Casper Planetarium & Ralph Mueller Planetarium.

  3. Mexica Archaeoastronomy

    This feature illustrates the important role played by astronomical observation for the evolution of pre-Hispanic cultures in central Mexico. They used the calendrical and astronomical knowledge inherited by their predecessor cultures to found the capital of their empire: Tenochtitlan. Vibrant colors, shapes and sounds transport the viewer to one of the most important cultures in Mesoamerica.

  4. Mayan Archeoastronomy: Observers of the Universe

    In a feast of colours and sounds, Mayan Archaeoastronomy: Observers of the Universe makes a tour of 6 Mayan temples: San Gervasio, Chichen Itzá, Uxmal, Edzná, Palenque and Bonampak where the spectator dives into a Mayan world of knowledge about the importance of the orientations of its temples in relation to the movement of some stars like the Sun, the Moon and Venus.
