Valentine Wine & Dine

The perfect Valentine's Day evening happens at Morrill Hall. Enjoy dinner and a drink, catch a planetarium show, and explore the Museum child-free. Free parking is provided. Check out the one-night only display of pieces featuring love across cultures from our Anthroplogy collection. These pieces have never been shared with the public before.
Investigate one of several interactive stations located throughout the Museum. Activities include: "Deep Time Detectives Virtual Reality": work with a partner as a paleontology team to discover the closest relative to a mystery fossil; Who’s Your Daddy?: tree and seed game with Nebraska Forest Service; Meet Your Match: animal mating trivia with Pioneers Park Nature Center; Carbon Footprint Monopoly, Wildlife-Friendly Wedding Guide, and Endangered Species Condoms with The Center for Biological Diversity; The "Cherish Nebraska" Watershed Table. At each station collect a flower and build your own bouquet to take home (flowers sponsored by Trader Joes).
Dinner buffet includes roast beef with a red wine demi sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean almandine, salad, rolls, and dessert. One complimentary drink ticket is provided to each guest. A cash bar will be available for the remainder of the event. Vegetarian meal option available.
Must be age 21+ to attend
Ticket sales end 10:00am day of program.
Event runs 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Proceeds from the event will help support Museum programs.
Tickets may be purchased online for $50 each. Proceeds support the Museum's programs. Ticket sales close at 10:00 am on Friday, February 14.
