UNSM hosts a variety of annual events for all ages. Explore some of these events below.
Dinosaurs & Disasters
UNSM's annual event with the UNL Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Explore hands-on learning activities throughout the museum. Many stations will be based on the year's theme.
Valentine Wine & Dine
This adults-only event includes dinner, a drink and a child-free night to explore the museum.
Archie's Late Night Party
Come celebrate Archie's birthday with UNSM. This party includes storytime, activities and fun for the whole family.
Fossil Day
A celebration of all things fossil related. This event typically includes Fossil Night trick or treat: a night of hands-on fossil activities and trick or treating throughout the museum.
Hubbard Lecture & Native American Heritage Month
Celebrate the cultures of the Native American tribes who live in North America. The Hubbard Lecture features a Native American guest speaker on a different topic each year.
Sensory Sunday
UNSM will open early with dimmed lights and audio projections to allow our friends and families who need it, the chance to explore the museum in a reduced stimuli environment.
