Volunteer at the Museum
Our volunteer program this spring will offer a variety of remote projects for volunteers! Remote opportunities may include conducting research on science and natural history topics, creating short videos on subjects covered in the Morrill Hall galleries, writing up transcripts of programs and videos, assisting with alternative text for images, translating website resources, and creating educational activities for children and families. Although a background in science is helpful, it is not required. All remote volunteer opportunities will include virtual orientations, check-ins, and support from Morrill Hall staff. Small group or team volunteer projects may also be available.
All volunteer applicants are asked to fill out the UNSM Volunteer Application. Please leave the “Volunteer Positions” section blank during this unique period of opportunities.
