Astronomy Night

Join us for a night that is out of this world. Morrill Hall will be open late just for this event.
Time: 5:00-9:00pm
Pricing: Included with admission (members get in free). Current admission discounts including Museums for All ($1 for those qualifying for WIC/SNAP/EBT) are valid for this event.
Parking: Free parking in lot outside Morrill Hall
Tickets: Advance tickets are encouraged to streamline admission process, but not required.
ACTIVITIES
- Live planetarium show: Pluto: Debating the fate of a planet (tickets are separate)
- Meet Lincoln's NASA ambassador.
- Experience NASA eClips activities created and presented by Upward Bound students.
- Prairie Astronomy club
- Additional hands-on activities from our community partners.
SPECIAL PLANETARIUM SHOW
Pluto – Planet? Or not? Join us in a 35-minute live-narrated planetarium
experience where we will take you into space to hear various sides of the argument!
This new program was created and will be presented by Upward Bound Students,
scholars from several Lincoln high schools, working in partnership with museum
educators to create this new product. It’s time to be schooled by the next
generation of scientists! So, sit back and relax as you fly through space
in this brand-new, live-narrated planetarium show.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased from the museum front desk at the
standard planetarium show pricing. Stargazer level museum
members get in free (acquire free ticket at front desk).
